The problem
The job search is a slop factory and you are the raw material. You spend a weekend tailoring one application. You hear back from almost none of them. The advice is to send more, faster — but every shortcut tool turns your career into a generic template.
- Six hours spent tailoring one CV.
- Forty-plus applications sent each week.
- Three replies, on a good week.
Generic CVs that say nothing about you. Cover letters that read like every other cover letter. Metrics inflated to look impressive — and impossible to defend in interview. A scattered evidence base nobody can keep track of.
How it works — five stages, one pipeline, zero fabrication
- Discover. Reed, Adzuna, RSS feeds, LinkedIn — every role worth your time, pre-filtered against your shape and location. Junk drops out before you ever see it.
- Research. A research agent compiles a context-aware dossier — Companies House, Glassdoor, news, market signal — and grades the role against a PM rubric.
- Tailor. Eight agents collaborate to draft a CV and cover letter from your evidence bank. Every bullet traces to verified evidence. Gaps are flagged, never papered over.
- Apply. You review at Gate 2 — JD, plan, CV, cover letter side-by-side. Approve and the artefacts are locked, exported as PDF and DOCX, queued for submission.
- Learn. A weekly Insight Agent reads outcomes, finds patterns, and proposes prompt or rubric changes for your approval. The system gets sharper.
Features
Evidence Bank — your career, structured.
Aplio parses your CV into 30+ atomic evidence items across eight categories — each with metrics, dates, and a verification state. Every CV bullet later traces back to one of them. Layered build: parse, confirm, enrich, optional structured interview. Verification states: unverified, machine_verified, user_verified.
Research Agent — a dossier for every role.
Sonnet plus web search compiles a context-aware dossier with a defensible / stretch / hard-stretch career-step verdict before anything is drafted.
Tailored CV — evidence-grounded, always.
Eight agents collaborate to plan, draft, and critique your CV and cover letter. Differential rendering means only the diff is regenerated. Hard-fail validators for ATS, length, structure. PDF and DOCX export at Gate 2 lock.
Application Tracker — WIP-limited, by design.
A Kanban that respects your bandwidth. Tracks every application from Applied through Offer with a hard WIP limit and one-tap digest advance — no inbox scanning.
Weekly Insights — the system gets sharper.
Once you have 30 terminal outcomes the Insight Agent finds patterns in what worked and proposes prompt or rubric tweaks for your approval. You stay in control.
Why I built this
I am a senior programme manager looking for the next role. I got tired of watching every shortcut tool turn my career into a generic template. The advice was always: send more, faster. But more slop is still slop. I wanted the opposite — fewer, sharper applications, each one grounded in something I actually did, defensible in interview, and routed only to roles that fit. So I built this. It is deliberately single-user, deliberately opinionated, and deliberately allergic to fabrication.
